Testing your Swimming Pool water regularly is not only vital to your own health, but to your equipment as well. The test strips make testing quick and easy, but not quite as accurate as the liquid test kits which take more time. By only buying and using the quick, easy and convenient test strips, you run a greater risk of developing unforeseen water chemistry problems. On the other hand, if all you own is one of the more time-consuming liquid test kits, you may be less motivated to spend the time required to test your pool regularly. Checking your pool regularly is the best way to keep a crystal clear, sparkling swimming pool. For that reason, I recommend buying and owning both Liquid Test Kits and Quick Test Strips at all times. Not, only will you will be sure to check your pool water more often,  but you will be more accurate doing it. Also, you will quickly learn to compare the results and of the different testing methods in case there are any doubts in your analysis. Sometimes, it can be difficult comparing the colors to the charts on either of the two types of testing methods.
